Headline Act: Coronation Ball

CORONATION BALL uploaded their first track 'You Had My Heart' to soundcloud in January 2014, the band was immediately picked up by french music blog La Belle Musique and subsequently by blogs including Hunger TV and Clash Music along with BBC 6 Music DJ Tom Robinson. Since January the band have played only a handful of shows headlining The Tunbridge Wells Forum in March and following fellow 'Paul Dunton and Guests' artists 'Annaca' and 'Will Joseph Cook' in appearing for Young & Lost Club Records' at their monthly showcase in London.

Zoe Nicol

Zoe Nicol Biog

Singer Songwriter Zoë Nicol is a maverick in the world of folk music- a storyteller with a lyrical twist, but more than that, Zoë is an artist who possesses the rare ability to leave an audience breathless. “I recall the moment I first heard Zoë sing I felt completely moved and inspired, you could hear a pin drop as the audience listened intently, everyone present was totally absorbed by her performance. Her songs are beautifully crafted, rich in both melody and creative edge” Music promoter - Paul Dunton

Zoë grew up with the influence of Joni Mitchell and Eva Cassidy who inspired her to become the sincere and heartfelt artist her fans have come to love. Her debut EP entitled ‘Walk Against The wind’ was released in the summer of 2008 and sold out by the winter of that same year. Her captivating stage presence is embellished further by her modest and enchanting persona, she is able to reach out and connect to an audience through her live performances and recordings.

Zoë hails from Tunbridge Wells in Kent. She graduated in 2010 from LIPA (also known as the Paul McCartney Music School) studying performance and song writing, as well as recording her full-length debut album titled “These Are The Stories”, released in April 2010.

Zoë is now pursuing her music in London as part of the band Worry Dolls but still continues to write and perform solo on special occasions. Zoë was given the opportunity to support Joan Armatrading in November 2012 twice, both solo and as part of the band. Worry Dolls released their first EP In February 13 which is available for download from www.worrydollsmusic.com. Zoe is currently performing regularly as part of Worry Dolls and working on the next release.

Phoebe Katis

In October 2014, Phoebe was commissioned to write the only piece of music in BAFTA and BIFA winning movie ‘Kajaki. The True Story’ (‘Kilo Two Bravo’ – US release). Her single ‘All Of My Life’ is the theme to the modern British War Film and has reached over 130,000 plays on both Spotify and YouTube.

In September 2017 Phoebe released a piano-vocal album of her own music, show casing her talent as a performer and diverse songwriter. Phoebe’s new single ‘Promises’ is set for release in March 2018 (prod. by Tim Bazell, Heart of Gold Studios). Phoebe’s talent for diverse songwriting has led her to work with a number of producers and artists across a range of genres.

On the performance side, as both a solo artist and with her band, Phoebe has played at a number of prestigious venues including sold out Jazz Club @ Pizza Express Dean St and Ronnie Scott's. She has also played the festival circuit, including Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, and Bestival. Phoebe performed at the private 70th anniversary party for BBC Radio 4 Women's Hour, and has had numerous appearances and support from BBC Radio Kent.

Fire Fly

Fire Fly - the Tunbridge Wells based trio have been playing together for 4 months, after a chance meeting whilst working at The Tunbridge Wells Forum.

Joe Stapley first picked up the djembe at the age of 15 and has more recently started playing the guitar. He has performed locally with fellow family musicians. Eddie Mulvey heard the sounds of Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan and by the age of 10 had developed a love of rock and blue's which has transposed to his playing style. Eddie currently studies music at West Kent College. Jasmine Tribe has been recording since the age of 11 when she won solo singing competition IDiva at Grassrootz festival.

Between the 3 of them, they have performed at Madame Jojo’s, Long bar, Barfly, The Forum and other local pubs and shows. Inspirations include: Led Zeppelin, Springsteen, The Noisettes, Delilah, Jason Mraz and Lenny Kravitz.
