Local singer/songwriter; Logan Wilson's recently released album entitled ‘Geography' is described by Andy Gunton of Hastings Rock as "one of the best locally-produced albums I've ever heard", praising its "high level of musicianship". Geography harks back to the carefree days of summer, though in no way shies away from the darker side of life. Born in South Africa and currently living in East Sussex, Logan is actively giging up and down the country with his band comprised of Steve Hope (keys), Simon Shaw (guitar/vocals), Sacha Trochet (percussion/vocals) and Matt Novis (bass guitar/vocals) at numerous prominent venues and festivals. Logan continues to enjoy regular airplay and live sessions on BBC Radio 2 on both the Janice Long and Terry Wogan shows and is on the cusp of signing to a major label. Influences include Paul Simon & Neil Finn.

Tunbridge Wells-based singer/songwriter Bea Everett is 15 years old and attends Tunbridge Wells Girls Grammar School. Her lifelong ambition is to sing perform professionally. For now Bea is focusing on developing her music to a more serious level. Bea started composing her songs by accompanying herself just with guitar but now composes on the piano as well and hopes some day to maybe get a jazz or pop rock band involved with her songwriting. Bea has mainly performed her compositions at school concerts and small social events although a recent gig at a private party in Hunton Village Hall on the 18th October gained her some public performance experience. Bea won the ‘most promising songwriter' award in the schools 2008 songwriting competition judged by Paul Dunton. Her early influences include KT Tunstall, Katie Melua and Nora Jones and more recently Elliot Minor.

Nick Stephens grabs your attention with simultaneous singing, punchy bass, guitar and simple percussion, then keeps it when you realize he is doing it all on his own. On hearing Nick’s up-tempo songs at the Pizza Express, Geno Washington’s words to Nick were “Don’t change shit”.
Nick designed his Hybrid Guitarbass to produce an extraordinarily wide range of notes and developed the slap-bass, strum and finger-style techniques needed to play it. 2009 saw his unique sound come of age, with a dozen funky blues percussive songs that usually produce the response ‘Swearword good’ followed by ‘he sounds like a band’ and ‘how does he do it ? “F***ing Incredible!” ~ Jake Boyle’s (Growler).
When Nick plays his Guitarbass with a percussionist it sounds like a tight four piece band. He is currently recording an EP with drummer James McEwan.
Nick will be appearing for Rotosound strings at the prestigious Acoustic Avalon event this November (website link below). 2009’s AA included Ian Archer of Snow Patrol & Thomas Leeb.
Nick is also a consummate Acoustic performer with his gentler ambient material like the wonderful ‘Supernaturalness’. Have a listen!

Well I guess there are a fair number of strings to my bow; I have a PhD in English Literature, teach at Goldsmiths College in London, and, together with my husband, run Prospect Arts, a film production company that takes me
all over the world from Ethiopia to Thailand to Brazil. I also love doing pilates, cooking risotto, and sewing on Liberty patches. All these feed into my singing and songwriting, which are my absolute passion and joy. I have been singing for as long as I can remember, and writing songs has been a creative outlet for many experiences and emotions even though I am an ill-disciplined perfectionist constantly striving to improve. I find myself writing a lot about love and friendship, and about what it means to have hope. I am inspired by all types of music, but have a real soft spot for folksters like Joni Mitchell, Shawn Colvin, Brooke Waggoner, Gillian Welch, Lisa Hannigan, and Mindy Smith and gents like Bob Dylan, The Blue Nile, Foy Vance, Mumford and Sons, and Iain Archer. I often write and perform with my husband Tim, who is a true creative tour de force. We are sometimes joined by other friends, who graciously add their amazing musicianship to our sound.
