Ricky and the Hats are:

Ricky Charles Millis - Wordsmith
Rosanna Colclough - Vocals
Scotty Watson - Vocals and Guitar
Simon O’ Kelly - Drums and vocals
Stephen Price - Bass and vocals
Ed Paterson - Keys

With their colourful range of facial expressions and a decent amount of banter, it's no wonder Ricky and the Hats have been turning heads whilst entertaining the music scene. Ricky's playful tongue-in-cheek lyrics, fused with Rosanna’s expressive vocals and Scotty's funky/reggae style guitar hooks creates a truly unique sound of pop-beat poetry… delivered by an even more interesting mix of characters.

In 2013, Ricky and the Hats were crowned runners up of the nationwide Open Mic UK competition held at The O2, winners of their category and were presented with the ‘Best Original Song’ award from Root 1. The band walked away with not only smiles upon their little funny faces, but with a cash prize to put towards their music.

2013 saw The Hats write and record the jingles for comedian Eric Lampaert’s “Two tickets to the Gum Show” at Edinburgh Festival.

Ricky and the Hats have performed at a number of high profile industry events, including London Rocks at the prestigious Café de Paris in Leicester Square alongside acts such as Juan Zelada, Lee Ryan, Simon Webbe, Jonathan Wilkes, Lemar,  Jahmene Douglas and Leo Ihenacho (The Streets).

RATH were also recently asked to perform at this year’s Hop Farm Music Festival as part of “Muzivo Rising”, performing alongside acts such as; Eliza Doolittle, Brian Wilson (The Beach Boys), Ray Davies (The Kinks), Grace Jones and Scouting for Girls. They are also featured artists on the brand new music app, Muzivo.

“Excellent chemistry, exciting, enjoyable and infectious”  Open Mic Judges 2013

The Creatures of Habit

The Creatures of Habit, well, what can I say?
Singing ditties by night, hunting rabbits by day.
They delve in to dark & mysterious themes
And sometimes things just aren't what they seem
You might recognise them, you may think you know,
You could be a stranger, a friend or a foe
But know one thing, if it's all that you do;
The Creatures of Habit are coming for you...

The Creatures of Habit's influences include Saucy Arabellas, Cheeky Vino & Charlotte Brereton's face!

Singer-songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric fusion of alternative and pop with a classical twist. Paul & his Orchestra take influences from varying modern day artists such as Pink Floyd, Elbow, ELO, Turin Brakes, Massive Attack, Damien Rice and contemporary composers such as Samuel Barber, Ludovico Einaudi, John Barry and Hans Zimmerman. The Orchestra performs Paul's own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards from a wide range of artists. The line-up of 8 violins, 4 cellos, guitar, flute, bass and percussion accompanies Paul on vocals and piano, joined by his lead vocalists, Charlotte Andrew and Poppy Raine. Paul and his Orchestra regularly perform at concerts, festivals and private events throughout the UK and internationally, including headlining the Theatrium Wilhelmstraße Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany and an 8 state tour of the USA which culminated in a spectacular roof-top performance on top of the New York Strand Hotel. Increased attention and success led to the orchestra being featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul's songs, 'Don't Forget'. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours.

I Am Aquitaine

Throughout the last 2 years ‘I Am Aquitaine’ have developed a reputation as a formidable live act through extensive gigging; the band continue to work hard, travelling across the UK to convert new supporters to their brand of sultry blues laden pop and dancey grooves.

2016 has seen the group play numerous seminal venues in London and across the South of the UK including Barfly Camden, The Monarch Camden, The Forum in Tunbridge Wells and most recently a capacity headline show on bonfire night at The Dublin Castle Camden. Choice festival dates included ‘Aberjazz’ in Wales, two consecutive years at ‘Mudfest’ supporting Toploader, Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Scouting for Girls, as well as a prominent slot playing the Bimble Inn stage at Beautiful Days.

In early Summer 2017 their debut single ‘Find Me’ will be released alongside some of their other upbeat party tracks, which were recorded at Park Studio Wembley with Tobin Jones (The Pearl Harts, Powell). Demos of these forthcoming tracks were pre-tracked at DOZ studio in preparation for these sessions; these demos are currently streaming from their Soundcloud page. Prior to that there will be a vinyl-only release of a live session tracked in the Granary Studios for a special collaborative project, which saw the band revisiting the use of analogue desks and tape. This session was raw and incorporated full live takes; they sought to capture the essence of I Am Aquitaine’s live performances.

'I Am Aquitaine are a good time rock band encompassing the best of Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac and Blondie…. However don’t be fooled by the nods to the past, with front woman Elle at the helm and a tight band behind her, they are original and look firmly to the future. Go see them live.’ - Phil Harrison, BBC Radio

‘There’s a bit of Jimmy Hendrix on lead guitar…She reminds me of Stevie Nicks.’ - James Whale, BBC Radio
