Kelly Stanley & The Hunters

Kelly found music as a young girl and it has continued to be a constant companion throughout her years, as she navigated life and improved her technique. During Kelly's teens she achieved great experience performing at a range of venues, from local pubs and clubs to the Portsmouth Guildhall and London’s Ministry of Sound. Over the years Kelly has also featured in regional newspapers, local and nationwide radio and on both BBC1 and ITV television. 

 

After honing her skills as a solo performer, it was time to add new layers to Kelly's thoughtfully written music and Kelly Stanley & The Hunters was born.  Combining the intricate guitar stylings of Craig Elvy and skilfully understated technique of Scott Woods on Drums, the temperature of the music is raised to another level. You can catch them mostly as the duo of Kelly & Craig playing the songs in a stripped back intimate style, but when possible the whole band comes together, at times joined by their double bassist. Whilst Kelly’s solo work is available to download now, the band are currently working towards their first EP together and are always adding new material to their varied repertoire of original music.
