June 11th marks a very special date indeed as popular Tunbridge Wells singer-songwriters Zoe Nicol & Paul Dunton officially release their new albums by way of a joint concert in the beautiful setting of The King Charles Martyr Church, near The Pantiles area of Tunbridge Wells. To mark the release of their collective work both Zoe & Paul are generously giving away a free signed copy of their album to every ticket holder. Audiences will then be treated to a live candlelit performance from Paul accompanied by his 16 piece orchestra followed by Zoe accompanied by her band ‘The Worry Dolls’.

Paul says “I am delighted and honoured to be performing with Zoe Nicol for this joint album concert and Local & Live taster event. Zoe is one of the most remarkable young talented songwriters I have ever seen. Her voice is simply breathtaking, audiences are always left spellbound by her purity of tone and heartfelt songs which are beautifully crafted and rich in both melody and feeling. To see her perform with her band in a setting such as The King Charles Martyr Church will be just magical!” Zoe’s enchanting Folk style is laced with a popular twist and such is the standard of her work, she has already been compared to the likes of Eva Cassidy, Patty Griffin and Joni Mitchell. Zoe’s 6 piece female backing band; The Worry Dolls are all fantastic musicians who utilize instruments such as Mandolin, Glockenspiel, Violin, Piano, Bass & Percussion. Together with Zoe the live sound will be fantastic!

Paul says “I will be performing with my entire crew which will mean 10 violins 5 Cellos and a flute……I guess .we are like a mini orchestra! The new album was recently recorded live to a 200 strong audience in The Ship Theatre in Sevenoaks, featuring all the strings and flute in addition to vocals from Fiona Keeler. I’ve always intended my music to be heard in this orchestral fashion and I believe my music to be a fusion of atmospheric pop/alternative with a classical twist. My influences include composers such as Barber and Rachmaninov and modern day songwriters such as Ben Folds, Damien Rice and Burt Bacharach. I hope people enjoy our performance and the new album.

Both Zoe and I believe the concert offers a fantastic deal. Tickets are just £10 in advance £12 on the door. We will each be giving away a free signed copy of our new albums to everyone who comes along to the concert. The King Charles Martyr church is a beautiful setting and the live sound will be both atmospheric and enchanting. We welcome all to come along tickets are available in advance from the box office on 07887515711 or email paul@pauldunton.co.uk
