Headline Act: Matthew Hovenden
Matthew Hovenden is a singer songwriter currently based in the city of Brighton & Hove. With influences such as Fleetwood Mac, Dave Matthews Band, Beck and many others his sound could be classed as folk/rock/pop but is eclectic in its use of different musical styles. Currently he is working on the recording and release of his debut EP Northern Line with a view to sharing his music with a wider audience and can’t wait for you to hear the finished result.

Tom Harvey
An aspiring singer/songwriter from a small town named Cranbrook, my influences include Lucy Rose, John Mayer and Dan Croll. I’ve played at weddings, local festivals and other places/events around the area including supporting local bands. I focus my writing on contemporary acoustic styles and themes trying to create something new by experimenting with how I make music, creating innovative percussion melodies using my guitar as well as writing more stripped back songs. Collaborating with dance musicians and other bands on tracks my vocals were played on a recent BBC introducing radio show and I hope to further develop my songs through recording. Writing about personal experiences in my own way, I have developed a further love for musicianship in writing, and hope to further this in study and a career in any which way possible supported by my passion for performing it.
The Pioneers
The Pioneers is an acoustic duo made up of George Halliwell and Dan Dearlove, who combine strong harmonies with memorable melodies and lyrics in an exciting and feel-good sound. They first formed in 2011 and have been writing and gigging ever since, refining their sound and blending influences from pop, folk, country and rock. They recorded their self-titled E.P. in 2014 and are currently working on their second release. Both George and Dan also constitute two out of the three members of the band ‘Catching Mangoes’ who regularly play in venues and bars in Brighton and Hove.
Josh Prager
I'm 22. I've been playing and singing for just under four years. I busk around Tunbridge Wells and around Kent and do the odd gig. I enjoy artists such as Passenger, Bob Dylan, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Cat Stevens; mostly acoustic stuff really. My hobbies other than music are football, art, photography, reading and nature.
