Sarah Lillie

Described by Neil Cowley as having a “beautiful, original voice”, twenty-two year old singer-songwriter from Kent, Sarah Lillie, has a unique, soulful sound. Her songwriting comprises a fresh fusion of global instruments, memorable pop hooks, and lyrical maturity.

Sarah Lillie is currently writing, recording and performing new material for her three-piece band, seven-piece band and a number of different collaborative projects. Sarah Lillie’s new, three-piece, acoustic band, features Ben Hood on backing vocals and guitar, and Rob Austen on backing vocals and percussion. Her seven-piece band features piano, cello, Tibetan Sound Bowls, bass-guitar, kora and drum kit.

Sarah Lillie’s current collaborations include working with dance, grime, electronic and pop musicians with whom she writes and sings, and several artists with whom she is working on music-inspired art.

In July this year, Sarah Lillie graduated with a First Class Honours in Music from Southampton University, and won the Peter Evans Award for excellent performance in Music.
