Headline Act: The Harry Whitty Quartet

Harry Whitty is a 17 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He grew up learning the piano and singing, then picked up the trombone at age 9. He started listening to jazz at around age 13 and, after hearing multi-instrumentalists like James Morrison and Jacob Collier, was inspired to learn as many instruments as possible and picked up drums, electric bass, trumpet and euphonium at around age 15.

His songwriting is inspired by many different artists such as Oli Rockberger, Theo Katzman, Jamie Cullum and Steely Dan. His debut EP entitled ‘Trying My Best’ features 5 original songs on a variety of topics, On the EP, Harry plays all the instruments as well as performing all the vocals. He can often be found gigging around Kent and London along with his band. He also works frequently with other songwriters such as Roberto Picazo. His second EP is due for release early 2018.

Paul Prem Nadama

Paul Prem Nadama is a heartwarming singer, songwriter and guitarist. His relaxed acoustic soul and contemporary folk tunes carry a new-age, conscious message that resonates and touches the hearts of many people, on any size stage. Paul often describes his intimate performances and workshops as ‘Melodies, Mantras and Moments‘, a concert or gathering where audience singing is welcomed. He performs either alone or with a small band often featuring top violinist Lizzie McKonkey or super Sax player Simon Taylor. His style is reminiscent of boyhood inspirations James Taylor, and Paul Simon. Paul Prem Nadama received his (Sannyasin) name from world-renowned Mantra singer and sacred songwriter Miten at the Gayatri festival in 2016. Paul has since gone on to play at Edinburgh Fringe, Tribal Earth, Brighton Fringe and in 2016 performed at a World Consciousness Symposium. In 2017 a tour of retreat centres in Holland and Corfu was a great success and more will follow in 2018.

He has played support act for the 'Commitments' and his biggest 'claim to fame' is to have accompanied pop diva Katrina singing her smash hit 'Walking on Sunshine' !

Guy Sharpe

Guy Sharpe is a 17 year old electro-acoustic singer-songwriter, inspired by the likes of Sampha and James Blake. His live performances comprise primarily of piano and vocals, with acoustic arrangements of his songs. But, he does also perform his electro-acoustic tracks live. He is currently working on an EP, and hopes to study composition when he leaves school.

Ryan Weeks

Starting to play guitar and sing at the age of twenty, originally buying his first guitar as a distraction from doing college assignments, Ryan is quickly making a name for himself in the local music scene , mixing soul, R&B, indie folk and country.

Hailing from southborough this local singer will have you moving your feet and dancing along. Singing popular covers, chart and his own soulful songs, Ryan weeks is definitely a name to remember. 

He's usually found gigging at venues in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, on a one-man mission to prove that Kent has soul. So come along and have a great time listening and dancing along to the soulful tones of Ryan Weeks.
