Headline Act: Havelock

I'm Havelock, a 20 year old from Kent. I've been involved with music for as long as I can remember. Writing lyrics has always been my outlet - it's the way I best express my feelings. Artists such as Jeff Buckley, Amy Winehouse, Jamie T and The Kooks have played an important part in my music so far. Expect lilting, feel good tracks with jazz infused chords as well as attitude filled, indie rock and roll.

Freddie and Charlie Frampton, born, raised and home educated on the Orkney Isles, have always had a love for music.

From a young age they began performing with their parents in their family band and have continued on as a duo, developing their songs and performing around the country.

Charlie is now studying musical theatre at The Brit School, Freddie focuses her time on songwriting and they both play a large range of musical instruments.

In February 2018 they reached the final 10 of the BBC Young Folk Awards and were able to join other young musicians for a weekend in the Lake District.

They are currently in the process of recording their songs to produce their first album and hope to release that some time in the near future.

Milly McCarron

Milly was first inspired, by Avril Lavigne, to pick up an electric guitar when she was 6 years old. A few years later she started singing and now mainly plays acoustic guitar and occasionally the ukulele or piano.

She has been providing live music across Surrey, Sussex and Kent since she was 13, at a variety of venues including cafes, restaurants, hotels, pubs, weddings, partys and festivals. Her sets consist of popular covers and originals, with her songwriting influences mainly coming from country music, and her voice and tone having a natural country style.

Visits to Nashville, Tennessee, have provided Milly with inspiration and on one visit was able to perform some of her original songs at the legendary Bluebird Cafe.

Her love of music combined with the opportunities to play live for people, is how she enjoys her spare time.

Martin is the front man in this thing called The Floodgates, which is very exciting and he strongly encourages you to give that a listen when you next can. Yet when his band mates are busy, you can find him roaming the streets desperately trying to feel relevant, playing a collection of band and solo tracks which can be found online, with a raw passion beyond his years.

Between working on The Floodgates debut EP, second tour and having a number of festivals all booked for 2016; Martin is living his lifelong dream of being a full time musician, which you can clearly see in his live shows.

Debut EP ‘Paint’ out Summer 2016.
