Singer-songwriter, Paul Dunton leads his own unique cross-over orchestra providing an atmospheric fusion of alternative and pop with a classical twist. Paul & his Orchestra take influences from varying modern day artists such as Pink Floyd, Elbow, ELO, Turin Brakes, Massive Attack, Damien Rice and contemporary composers such as Samuel Barber, Ludovico Einaudi, John Barry and Hans Zimmerman. The Orchestra performs Paul's own compositions and a varied selection of uniquely arranged standards from a wide range of artists. The line-up of 8 violins, 4 cellos, guitar, flute, bass and percussion accompanies Paul on vocals and piano, joined by his lead vocalists, Charlotte Andrew and Poppy Raine. Paul and his Orchestra regularly perform at concerts, festivals and private events throughout the UK and internationally, including headlining the Theatrium Wilhelmstraße Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany and an 8 state tour of the USA which culminated in a spectacular roof-top performance on top of the New York Strand Hotel. Increased attention and success led to the orchestra being featured on BBC Radio 2 by Joan Armatrading with interviews and airplay of one of Paul's songs, 'Don't Forget'. This led to Paul supporting Joan Armatrading on five occasions during her recent UK tours.

Worry Dolls

Worry Dolls met at Paul McCartney’s school of music in Liverpool. Bonding initially due to having the same fiery red locks, what sets them apart is their tongue-in-cheek, honest lyrics and their refusal to sing “cliché love songs”.Described by Bob Harris as "a warm and infectious sound”, Worry Dolls’ music is packed full of sublime harmonies, atop a plethora of varied instruments. Many will have seen them performing at Glastonbury Festival, supporting Joan Armatrading on tour, or heard their music played on Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music. With a strong online following, Worry Dolls have clocked up over 100,000 views on YouTube, and over 85,000 spins on SoundCloud.

With two EPs already under their belt, Worry Dolls have just returned from Nashville where they have been writing with top writers and recording their debut album with producer Neilson Hubbard, to be released in 2016. Since their first EP, Worry Dolls’ sound has grown as their influences have shifted more towards the rootsier sounds of Nashville & the Appalachian mountains – still with a strong UK stamp. In their time together as a duo, they’ve forged something substantially stronger than a hair colour match. A beautiful and captivating result.

“Worry Dolls are phenomenally talented. The Nashville Songwriters Association believes in the group, their songs and their performance ability. Do yourself a favor and put them on your playlist!” - Bart Herbison (Executive Director - NSAI)

“The brilliantly quirky duo Worry Dolls – a super-shiny beacon of joy in a dreamland far, far away from the persistently ‘regular’ sound of folk that’s flooding the charts right now” - The Huffington Post

“All four songs are absolute gems… stuffed full to bursting with fantastic harmonies” - Maverick Magazine

“Great harmonies and stirring folk-pop songs” - R2 Magazine

Dave Harding

Dave writes beautifully-crafted haunting and melodic songs about love. He has a diverse range of influences, from Burt Bacharach and Scott Walker to Morrissey, Elvis Costello and David Sylvian.

Dave's playing and songwriting style is also influenced by his classically-trained past. His early musical cv includes playing in orchestras and successful string quartets, as well as performing violin and piano concertos in major London venues.

Throughout his teens and twenties he played in a variety of rock, pop and folk bands going on to record 2 self-produced solo albums.

Songwriting is Dave's passion, and after rather a long break he is now getting his new and old songs out there.

“Previously I’ve recorded most of my songs with layers of orchestral and vocal arrangements. Now, I really want to strip everything back and just allow the melody, structure and lyrics to speak for themselves.”
