Headline Act: The Jemima Price Band

Drawing on elements of Country/Americana, folk and blues, The Jemima Price Band delivers “what, we’ll dub ‘Celtic Country’ for want of a better word" (R2 - Rock 'n' Reel Magazine). It is a collaboration between singer-songwriter Jemima Price (with two albums and a book of poetry under her belt as a solo artist she was hailed as a “talent to watch” by Cosmopolitan) and her long-term partner writer/guitarist Mirek Latosek. The couple has been writing and performing together for over 9 years, developing a love of ‘roots’ music as common ground within their diverse influences and backgrounds.

From their debut album No Alibi For Alice (featuring guest performances by bass legend Herbie Flowers and BJ Cole) they have developed their style to incorporate a contemporary electric element, culminating in their recently released second album Fragile House. Recorded and produced by Mirek, they also had the great pleasure of working with Bruce Kaphan on the album (album credits include American Music Club, Sheryl Crow, John Lee Hooker, Chris Isaak).

After taking a break from gigging to record, the band are back on the circuit as a four piece with long standing member Darren Reynolds on double/electric bass and new member Danny Watson on electric guitar and guitar synth.

Credits include guest band on a BBC Introducing South live session with Phil Jackson, headlining at The Ropetackle and Chequer Mead Arts Centre, The Crawley Folk Festival, interviews on BBC radio Surrey & Sussex.

“This new album is fab, perfect for a summer’s evening”.
Mark Carter BBC Sussex & Surrey

“Fragile House stirs pop, rock, roots and country flavours, the resultant mix an undoubtedly tasty dish with commercial appeal”.
RnR Magazine

“Musically Fragile House is quite diverse, and is really worth a listen”.

Jennie Worthley

Jennie has been writing songs for a number of years, however it is only within the last year that she has begun to perform them publicly, predominantly at acoustic venues and music events in and around Tunbridge Wells including a recent debut at Paul Dunton's showcase at The Grey Lady Music Lounge. Jennie's song writing is heavily influenced by the lives and experiences of those to whom she is closest and with great insight her lyrics provide a refreshing depth and honesty while her songs walk the tightrope between desperation and hope. Although occasionally choosing to perform on her own with either guitar or piano, Jennie's regular accompaniment is provided by Tom Heaseman (percussion) and Luke Bacon (guitar/backing vocals) who were formerly members of popular local indie rock band Tehillah Commission.

Lindsay, Mick & Marianne

Singer Lindsay Field and Keyboard player Mick Rose have been performing and writing music together for over ten years. They have appeared on numerous radio broadcasts mostly for the BBC, playing live on many occasions and have had their recorded material played on Radio 2.

Lindsay and Mick have worked as a support act on national tours notably with Paul Carrack and Bill Wyman among others. Lindsay also recently made her debut in London’s West End to great critical acclaim.

Their two most recent albums offer an interesting contrast of material. 'More Dreams Than Sense' is a collection of cover versions written by artists they particularly admire, such as Gretchen Peters, Don Mclean and Paul Carrack. Their most recent Album 'A Different Game' is an eclectic collection of songs written by Lindsay and Mick all of which are full of passion and highly emotive.

They have recently been joined by Marianne Hillier Brook on percussion. Marianne has played numerous sessions with many music luminaries and plays regularly alongside legendary bass player Herbie Flowers.

Trevor John

Since going solo a couple of years ago Singer/Guitarist Trevor John has been one of the busiest musicians on the London circuit. Blending Blues, Jazz, Klesmer, GypsyJazz, Country and Folk, his beautiful, gently passionate songs, are delivered with emotional edge, wry wit & some killer lyrics.

He also designed the Dairylea Cow...but that's another story.
