The Diarys are Rich Sanford (vocals & Guitar), Giles Patrick (Bass guitar), Stuart Wallinger (drums) and Mike O'Hara (guitar/vocals). The band has established themselves as one of the UK's finest emerging acoustic talents. Their distinct style is laced with lilting melodies and captivating, memorable songs. Whilst actively gigging around the UK at numerous prominent festivals and venues, including headlining the ‘Local & Live' music festival in 2007 have amassed a sizeable fan base and in early 2007 released their self-produced album; 'If walls could talk' which continues to receive critical acclaim. At the moment they are at their strongest, writing and performing up beat gypsy reggae style grooves refected on their newly released second album entitled 'one room'. The follow up record is more upbeat than the first album, with a rougher truer edged to the music. The band recorded the album with Giles Patrick at the controls in an old fire station in Kent.
Paul’s music is best described as a captivating fusion of alternative/pop and classical. He composes and performs both instrumental pieces and songs. With influences such as modern day artists; Ben Folds, Elbow, Turin Brakes and composers such as John Barry, Samuel Barber and Rachmaninov, Paul is an artist that offers something different. Following his 3 previous album releases; ‘Ordinary Guy’, ‘Train of Thought’ and live album ‘Escapism’, Paul recently released his first EP entitled ‘The Sirens ‘which is available for purchase at live performances and downloads are available at Itunes and all good online retailers. The EP features Paul’s larger ensemble known as The Paul Dunton Orchestra, which comprises a line-up of up to 12 violins & 6 Cellos, guitar, double-bass and flute.
A lifelong lover of music, Chris has been writing and performing his growing collection of thought provoking songs for almost 3 years, following earlier appearances in a range of cover bands and as a solo performer. Recently described as an "inspiring modern day troubadour", a "distinctive talent" and a "rare gem indeed", Chris pens lyrics of real substance and meaning. His songs touch on themes and experiences that people can genuinely relate to and captures the attention of his audience from the very first note whether you are listening to him live or from any of his CDs. From passionate and reflective finger picking ballads through to angry, driving protest songs, Chris' songs will get under your skin because they are from the heart. His album is entitled "Under the skin, from the heart".
