She has gigged extensively in London and the South-East, played a small tour in America, and has supported artists such as Bap Kennedy, Jools Holland and Deacon Blue. Jemima draws cites influences such as Judy Garland, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Doors. In the last couple of years Jemima has been playing and collaborating with Polish writer and guitarist Mirek. Born in the southeast of Poland, Mirek Cites early influences such as Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Jimi Hendrix through to the later exploration of jazz and the inspiration of artists such as Miles Davis, The Weather Report and Cassandra Wilson. In Poland he also composed for a female jazz artist, and worked closely with an experimental dance-based theatre company, writing and providing live music for their performances.
